The SK Research Hub is an innovative and interdisciplinary research institution aimed at fostering holistic knowledge and solutions for contemporary global challenges. The hub is structured around five specialized centers, each hosting various sub-departments dedicated to specific research and professional domains. This integrated approach encourages cross-disciplinary collaboration, paving the way for impactful research, policy-making, and educational initiatives.

The idea of the “SK Research Hub” is an innovative endeavor of SK Hub led by Professor Sarwar Khawaja and aims to foster, support and facilitate research in Business Development, AI and Cybersecurity, Applied Research, Allied Health Sciences, Early Diagnosis, Interfaith Harmony, and Peace and Conflict studies, coalescing and intersecting with the broader vision and mission of SK Hub. SK Research Hub aims to support research across the globe especially in Global South to address and combat pressing issues of humanity. The mission of SK Hub primarily revolves around empowering researchers, scientists, professionals, practitioners and the community through knowledge, creativity, innovation, and sustainable solutions.

SK Hub envisages becoming a leading center for research innovation and knowledge generation consequently leading to community impact. SK Hub is already undertaking certain initiatives regarding social and public health. The research at SK Research Hub will focus cutting edge areas such as business development, AI, and cybersecurity, reflecting the drive towards recent technological advancements and global technological challenges targeting economic growth, innovation and global competitiveness. Applied research and early diagnosis initiatives contribute to improving health and well-being, demonstrating a commitment to societal welfare. It aligns with the mission of improving quality of life through healthcare advancements.

The SK Research Hub’s focus on business development intends to create new business opportunities, economic resilience and entrepreneurship.
